LAUNCH NIGHT 16TH OCTOBER 2025
The Gathering House
“Whether you are seeking Jesus for the first time, looking for a church family, or desiring deeper fellowship, you are welcome at The Gathering House.”
The Gathering House is a Christ-centered community devoted to living out the New Testament model of church. It is not a traditional church structure, but a Spirit-led fellowship where the power of the Holy Spirit, authentic relationships, and deep community are cultivated for the glory of God. This means every time we meet, it may not look the same because we are led by the Spirit, not by routine.
This community is built on Christ Jesus as the cornerstone, expressed through the five-fold ministry apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers given to equip and mature the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11–13). Our vision is to strengthen believers to carry out the apostolic mandate: proclaiming the gospel, discipling nations, and demonstrating the Kingdom of God in power and love.
At The Gathering House, relationships are at the heart of our fellowship. Just as the early church “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” (Acts 2:42), we are committed to building strong bonds of unity, encouragement, and accountability. Together, we seek to live as a Spirit-empowered community, advancing the mission of Christ and making Him known.
This is a place where believers are equipped through the five-fold ministry, encouraged in authentic relationships, and sent out carrying the presence of God into their families, workplaces, and cities. The Gathering House exists for one purpose: to glorify God by raising up a people who live by the Spirit, love one another deeply, and advance His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
Location: 286 Glasgow Road Blantyre G72 9DB. 10 minute walk from Blantyre Train Station. There are also local bus routes to Blantyre.
